Japanese rock outfit RADWIMPS, perhaps best known internationally for their incredible work on the your name. soundtrack back in 2016, has begun teasing their latest single "Catharsist" which is set to release in Japan on June 6, 2018. The single, which is being used as the theme song for FujiTV's soccer television broadcasts offers a throwback to the sounds the band so powerfully identified themselves with. The first release from RADWIMPS since February, "Catharsist" is set to come bundled with another song, "HINOMARU," when it releases on June 6. While only thirty seconds of the single is currently being previewed, it's easy to see just what we meant when saying that the group is returning to its roots on this one.
